So, according to recent studies, the amount organizations spend on business travel is increasing year on year. Our Executives are hoping on flights, checking into far flung destinations and attending meetings all over the world. This means that the amount of time assistants spends organising business travel is only going to grow.
We held our first Assist Travel conference and exhibition on Friday 25th September at the Hilton Bankside and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the day. I hope those that came along enjoyed it too. It was particularly brilliant being the first event to take place at the Hilton Bankside.
During Assist Travel 2015 we are running a brilliant interactive session called …What happened next? I’m really looking forward to this one because we will look at how assistants have worked their magic to fix all manner of travel mishaps from cancelled flights, erupting volcanos to the wrong visas and flat tires.
Following the success of the Assist Conference I have decided to organise a few more events throughout the year. First up we have Assist Travel taking place on Friday 25th September 2015 from 10am to 4pm in London. This is a free to attend event for Practically Perfect PA subscribers.
