Less then two minutes walk from Victoria station you can find one of the most tranquil places in London. This will probably amaze most occasional travellers to one of London’s busiest stations but Eccleston Square and its superb five star Eccleston Square Hotel really does offer quiet amongst the madness.
Despite this hotel being off of the main Taksim shopping street we found it very hard to find. It was down a very steep hill which involved lots of steps (the taxi driver refused to take us to the door due to building works taking place a few doors down from the hotel!).
