What is Join.me
Join.me is an online platform and app that allows for easy video or audio conferencing. You don’t need to download any software as everything is available on the website for use. The Price is based on a freemium model so and you can access the 14 day free trial to test all of the features.
What does it do?
Join.me is a really simple video and audio conferencing platform. It has features for individuals, teams and businesses. For video conferencing Join.me is set up with video bubbles – simple, light, floating visual images of you and the people you are meeting. Users can view live video bubbles of one another during video-only meetings or while simultaneously sharing their screens with each other. Screen sharing can also be swapped between presenters on the same call.
For Audio Conferencing join.me has local conference numbers in the States and 50+ countries, optional toll-free numbers, and audio controls for meeting hosts such as Active Speaker, Individual Mute and Roll Call. Join.me also features a scheduling feature which integrates with iCal and Google Calendar.
The App has the same features and can used on the go. The app also allows users to collaborate using a virtual whiteboard.

With all of the extensive features join.me is a brilliant alternative to other audio and video conferencing platforms. It is great for assistants because the software does not need to be downloaded, so if your organisation is a little strict about IT systems and downloading external programme you can still use join.me to make conference calls.

I’ve been using join.me for a while and really like it for audio and video conferencing. It is easy to use and share your screen with other people and can be used to host small meetings (up to 50 attendees).
