I’m so excited to share with you the first group of new speakers for the Virtual Summit and their session details. We have a really varied group trainers from all over the world for the Summit who are truly inspiring. I will be sharing more of their tips and empowering stories over the summer, but for now, here are our Virtual Summit speakers:
Lisa N. Alexander, Speaker and Entrepreneur
Known as The Marketing Stylist™, Lisa N. Alexander has worked as an art director, graphic designer and marketing consultant throughout her 20 year career. As a consultant and now Creative Director at PrettyWork Creative LLC, she helps small business owners grow their businesses through strategic marketing and branding.
Lisa describes this process as helping clients develop their WOW factor for their big marketing red carpet events. Web launches, advertising campaigns, social media marketing, new business launches are all big events that require the expertise of a stylist to help businesses put their best face forward and her clients love her for this.
Lisa is also the author of This Woman Knows (TWK) and editor-in-chief of ThisWomanKnows.com. The book is her personal story of coming into her own place of knowing and power and she along with a group of contributors, help women to keep evolving as women who know. Lisa shares her message with women through public speaking opportunities and online trainings on her personal website. Lisa is also the author of, Put It Out There! 5 Steps to Kick Fear’s Butt and Move Your Dream Forward and his working on her first marketing book, What Million-Dollar Brands Now: Branding Strategies for Aspiring Entrepreneurs to be released Summer 2018.
Lisa will present a session called ‘What if I look stupid?’. She will share with you the skills you need to unlearn keeping quiet so you can courageously ask for and get what you want out of your career.
Jennifer Holloway, best selling Author, Speaker, Trainer, Coach
When it comes to personal branding, Jennifer Holloway knows her stuff. From her corporate days running press offices to being the boss of her own business, she’s learnt how to build relationships and stay on people’s radars by promoting who she is – not just what she does. The result?
Jennifer now delivers workshops and seminars, as well as one-to-one coaching, for FTSE 100 clients across the UK and Europe, including Santander, Vodafone, Bupa, RBS and Asda. And for those outside the corporate world, Jennifer wrote the best-selling book Personal Branding For Brits to encourage as many people as possible to blow their own trumpet and discover being successful means being yourself.
Jennifer will share her incredible tips on personal branding for Assistants. Having seen Jennifer speak at the very first Assist Conference I can guarantee this session is not to be missed if you want to learn how to sell your skills and make yourself stand out in your office.
Margaret Young, Founder of TrainMYAdmin.ie
Margaret is a highly motivated and experienced individual with exceptional organisational skills, working in the public health sector for the last decade of a 20+ year career in Admin, PA/EA and Management. Having worked in positions where analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail are essential combined with her commitment to self-development and continuous learning, Margaret has recently qualified as a QQI Level 6 trainer. Margaret is now self employed as a freelance Trainer, sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm for productivity with administrators particularly those in PA/EA roles.
Margaret will be presenting a session on Real Life Job Interview Questions and Answers for Assistants. This subject continues to be the most popular on Practically Perfect PA and I am thrilled that Margaret will show our attendees how to prepare for interview success using specific examples for assistants.
