Many of us are often asked to find venues for team days or to organise corporate events. Sometimes these tasks can give us sleepless nights! Waitrose can offer a venue with a difference, at one of their three Cookery Schools.

So, if you are planning a team day, looking for a venue for a private function or corporate event, then why not consider hiring one of the schools?  Nothing gets the creative juices flowing like eating and drinking!

There are two Cookery Schools in London, at King’s Cross and Finchley Road, and one in Salisbury.  The state-of-the-art spaces offer a lot of flexibility to meet your needs and have the best equipment to give you, and your clients, an unforgettable experience.

There’s also a melting pot of culinary talent, with chefs from some of the best professional kitchens in the country, such as Marcus Wareing’s Tredwell’s, Rick Stein’s, The Ivy, The Ritz and Scotts in London.  Each of the very talented chefs brings their own ideas, tastes and expertise to the table.

Finchley Road

At Finchley you can enjoy a range of courses for a great team day out. You’ll also find an excellent entertaining space that is suitable for all types of corporate events and the school can provide bespoke private dinners.   If you prefer to be ‘hands off’ they even have a theatre which you can hire for presentations or filming.

Kings Cross

Kings Cross opened in September 2015 in a Victorian grade II listed building, with bare brick walls and elements of the original features from its railway heritage.  Offering a modern approach to food and easily accessible in Central London. This would make an ideal venue for a team away day or a bespoke evening entertaining corporate clients.

Not forgetting those companies in the South of England, the Salisbury school would provide a great location for a team day with a difference.  Offering courses and demonstrations designed to bring people together with delicious food – what more could you ask for?

The Cookery School team pride themselves with their event organisation and flexible approach to tailor courses and events to your requirements.  Their chefs also love a challenge and will create bespoke menus for private dinners.

However, if you’d prefer not to organise an event, but want to offer something different, they also offer gift certificates. Ideal as a corporate, or personal gift, for those who enjoy cooking or want to improve their skills.  The certificates are available in a number of different values and can be used towards any course at any of the three schools.

So, swap those grey suits for chef whites and switch the tie for Pad Thai. After all, everyone knows the best parties happen in the kitchen!
