What is DocuSign?

DocuSign lets you sign documents electronically and easily send documents for electronic signature in just minutes. It’s safe, secure, and legally binding. There is a free trial available for new users and prices start from £7 per month for individuals.

What does it do?

Docusign allows users to upload documents and place electronic signitures where required. The document can then be sent via email to those that need copy, or it can be downloaded and stored for later use. Docusign also has an app which means users can sign documents on the go via their tablet or mobile phone. If users require another person to co-sign the documents a link can be sent to that person which allows them access to the document and they are able to add their own electronic signature.

How does it benefit assistants?

This software is really useful for assistants who have permission to sign documents on behalf of their Executives. Documents can be quickly uploaded, signed and emailed to the relevant people within a matter of minutes. This means that assistants do not have to wait to get their boss’s signature or keep a big stack of papers on their desk for their boss to sign.
