Stick It On is a very simple – and completely unique – concept that has been rocking parties for over a decade.
With a Stick It On event, the guests get the opportunity to work the decks like superstar DJs as they ‘wow’ their colleagues and friends with 15 minutes worth of their favourite ‘choons’!
With a compere to introduce each DJ, and a technical helper to support them in using the decks, the client is guaranteed a rollercoaster musical journey spanning every genre and decade from rock to pop, soul to rock ‘n’ roll, dance to disco and much, much more! Essentially, people choose their all-time favourite tracks, guaranteeing an eclectic mix, and a full dance floor.
No DJ experience is necessary. The Stick It On crew will be there the whole time, offering as much or as little technical assistance as the DJ requires. Mixing is actively discouraged too, as this isn’t a night for wannabee DJs!
It’s simply a chance for people that love music to share their favourite songs with their friends and rock the dancefloor!
Stick It On have a number of different formats to suit a variety of different event briefs ranging from office/Christmas parties, product and press launches, award after-parties to team building and experiential activities.
The interactive and engaging nature of a Stick It On event allows absolutely anybody to participate, giving the guests the power to dictate what music they want to hear at their own party. There are also a number of different formats to choose from to suit the party needs. These range from the DJ Democracy package which provides a pre-event registration via a dedicated event microsite, this is ideal for hyping up and encouraging office banter with people talking about what songs they would like to play in the build up to the party. The DJ Face-Off pits colleague vs. colleague or department vs. department against each other by playing back-to-back tunes in a DJ battle with the crowd cheering for the winner at the end of each bout.
For a more sedate option, those who are having a sit down meal beforehand could choose the Dinnertime Sessions. Each table has a golden envelope with an announcement requesting that a member from each table opens and reads its contents to the rest of the table before starters are served. The envelope reveals that they will DJ at the post dinner disco and during dinner the group will need to pick their DJ setlist from a list of songs provided and come up with a DJ name that best represents them. The ‘Dinnertime Sessions’ creates a great topic of conversation during dinner whilst encouraging a fun collaborative experience amongst the team.
Lastly, Stick It On has recently launched a Stick It On App that will revolutionise the way people interact at their events. Guests will be able to download the app at an event which will send a pre-determined set of suggested playlists based on the audience demographic. They can then submit their DJ request and receive notifications that they have been selected to play via their phone.
With such a variety of options to choose from, Stick It On offers a great platform to rock any event brief and is a fantastic, original entertainment alternative.
