Sloane Square is a beautiful part of London and an ideal location for a luxury serviced apartment. I have often wandered around the streets of Belgravia contemplating what the beautiful houses contain. You can imagine my excitement when I opened the door to the The Apartments by The Sloane Club and finally had a chance to wander around a million pound property. It certainly feels like a luxurious crash pad for the rich and famous with its art deco furniture and opulent decor.
The apartments by the Sloane Club was a perfect base for me as I was in London to attend a number of meetings and work at an event in Holborn. The living room in the apartment provided a perfect space to sit and work, which I did all afternoon. The WiFi was faultless and the beautiful writing desk was a joy to work from.
The modern kitchen had every appliance a guest could possible need including a Nespresso coffeemaker, dish washer, oven, microwave and a nifty boiling water tap (which is a tea lovers dream!). The goodie bag provided by the Sloane Club was a wonderful addition. The contents of which were so good I could have, if so inclined, given the bag to someone as a present – and they would have appreciated it very much! Instead, I ate everything and was very happy with my choice.
The bedroom and en suite bathroom were again a wonderful mixture of modern and art decor features. The bed was huge and it took all of my strength not to jump into it straight away, I did after all have work to do. Despite it being a typically miserable and grey day in London the apartment’s large windows ensured it was light and airy.
The apartments by the Sloane club are just around the corner from the prestigious Sloane Club, a private members club on Lower Sloane Street which has been in operation since the 1940s. As you would expect the staff at the club were excellent and the service impeccable. They very much respected my privacy during the stay leaving me to my own devises expect to check that everything was okay with the apartment. The in-apartment dining is a great option for those that do not want to cook. A chef from the club will come to apartment and cook up a storm. Although I didn’t try the food, the menu looked very appetising.
Despite being in such a central location the apartments are on a quiet road which means you can barely hear the outside world and a undisturbed night’s sleep is guaranteed. The following morning I was up and out of the flat very early. This was unfortunate because I could have happily moved into the apartment on a permanent basis. This is probably the highest accolade you could give a serviced apartment – I wish I lived here.
Why book apartments by the Sloane Club for your boss? If your boss is travelling to London for longer than a few days I don’t think you could book a better serviced apartment. It really is incredibly luxurious and your boss will be well looked after. If you work in London the apartments are perfect for high net-worth clients especially if they also bring their families. The location is perfect for the Executive to travel to the office and his family to explore the city. It is worth bearing in mind that the minimum stay is 7 nights.
