Assist Conference Programme
I am absolutely delighted to announce the Assist Conference 2015 programme. It is packed full of thought-provoking, relevant and informative content which will help you move on up within your organisation.
Plenary session: Being in charge when you are not in charge – Persuasion tips and techniques
Speaker: Richard Newman, Body Talk UK
As support staff we often feel like we re not in a position to influence decisions in our organisation. But as we move up the career path influencing and persuading often more senior members of staff becomes an increasingly important skill. In this session Richard will give you practical advice on how to influence and persuade those around you.
In this session William will demonstrate the use of several tried and tested event management tools and techniques all designed to give you, the event organising assistant, more control of your events.
Panel session: Working environments
In this panel session we will address the different working environments assistants now find themselves in and the challenges they face. The panelists will speak about their personal experiences working in a variety of environments.
The Assist Conference Venue
The Assist Conference 2015 will be held at the Proud Archivist in London. The venue is incredibly creative and cool with lots of space for us to create a truly memorable experience for our delegates.
The Assist Conference Partner
We are very happy to announce that Get Taxi will be partnering with us on the Assist Conference. We have worked with Get Taxi for a while now and have been incredibly impressed with their knowledge of the assistant industry and the work that we do. They have some exciting things planned for our delegates and will be a valuable addition to the Assist Conference.
